ADTAV Update – News from STV

Dear Members, ADTAV Council has been meeting recently with STV to discuss issues relating to driving instructors, including DIA renewals. STV will be emailing all DIA holders an update today regarding renewals and ongoing training requirements. If you do not receive an email, please contact them on driver@safetransport.vic.gov.au as they may not have your current or correct email address.  If you don’t receive a response, you can call them on 1800 638 802. VicRoads Update 28 November 2023

VicRoads NOISE REDUCTION Dear Members, The removal of the pre-horn drive check at all VicRoads sites will be effective from Monday 11 December 2023. Following a successful pilot at our Werribee, Deer Park and Melton sites, VicRoads has decided to remove the horn check from the pre-drive process for all tests that are conducted in a Driver Training vehicle, at all VicRoads sites.
